The Courtyards at UMD
The Courtyards at UMD (CTY) is one of two University of Maryland’s public-private partnership student housing communities. The other housing community is South Campus Commons. Capstone On-Campus Management oversees operations, including Resident Life, Maintenance, Leasing, and Account Management. Students that live at CTY must be UMD undergraduate students and approved by the Department of Resident Life http://reslife.umd.edu/housing/commonscourtyards/eligibility/.
704 UMD Terps live at CTY in one of five different floor plans http://umdcourtyards.com/about/floor-plans-virtual-tours/. 14 Resident Assistant’s live on-site along with 4 professional staff with specialization in Student Affairs http://umdcourtyards.com/about/staff/. Just like the residence hall’s, all utilities are included in the installment cost and CTY residents also receive UMD high-speed internet. Each resident is allowed to register one vehicle to park at CTY at no additional expense http://umdcourtyards.com/current-residents/transportation/. The apartments are fully furnished with everything you need including a full size washer/dryer http://umdcourtyards.com/about/amenities/. The Clubhouse includes a Study Room, Free Printing (bring your own paper), a Recreation Room (Ping Pong, Pool, TV), an Exercise Room with aerobic and strength conditioning equipment, and a lounge area.
